Madison Rises - Check Them Out!!

When I heard their version of Star Spangled Banner playing from a SUV at the rifle range.  I had to go and find out who it was (Thanks John!!).  Check out "Madison Rises" on Youtube, or Spotify.  It is sadly very rare that I can endorse performers without adding the caveat, ". . . but they are a bunch of douchebags."

I've already gone and ordered the CD.

Edit To Add:  Madison Rising will be performing at the Second Amendment Foundation Gun Rights Policy Conference in Orlando, Florida

Similar to "Right To Bear," but with a different flavor:

Like AC/DC? Check out Airborne!

Not long ago, I was introduced to Airborne by one of the few local DJs that gets to play music that hasn't been on the Top-40 list. The band has a very AC/DC type sound, and the lead singer sounds a lot like Bon Scott.

I checked out the Runnin' Wild CD, and it's really good.

So. . . Fred, Bob, "go to it!"

Australian Pink Floyd

I've been watching the Australian Pink Floyd concert on PBS. I gotta tell ya, it's just not the same. The guitarist seems to be struggling a bit now and then, he's no David Gilmour. "Money" wasn't bad, but I barely recognized "Shine On You Crazy Diamond."

To those who say Australian Pink Floyd sounds just like Pink Floyd if you close your eyes, I say, "Rubbish!"

Edit: The guitarist with the ponytail is pretty damn good. It's the bald guitarist that's not that great.
